Urdu, phones and weak connections
Switching to Urdu, using Wakeelnama on a phone, and what happens without a connection.
Urdu
Use EN and اردو in the top bar to switch the interface. The layout turns right to left. Navigation and the main labels are in Urdu; much of the longer text is still in English while a native speaker reviews it. You can write case notes and research questions in Urdu or English. Judgments, statutes and drafts are shown in the language they were written in and are never machine translated without saying so.
Phones
Wakeelnama works in your phone’s browser, with the main sections in a bar at the bottom of the screen. To keep it one tap away, use your browser’s menu and choose Add to Home Screen.
Without a connection
Wakeelnama needs a connection and does not work offline yet. Pages are kept light so they load on a weak signal, and a chamber run carries on in our system if your connection drops. Calm mode stops the animations if you want the app still.
