Terms

A tool for counsel

Wakeelnama helps advocates, their staff and law students research, organise and draft. It is not a law firm, does not give legal advice and does not appear in court. Everything it produces is a draft for a qualified advocate to check. You are responsible for what you file.

Accuracy

We work hard to make every citation traceable to its source and we flag what we could not verify. Answers and drafts are written by AI models. The library is not complete (it holds no Supreme Court or Lahore High Court judgments today), and statutes and judgments may have changed. Always read the authority itself before relying on it. If you give a client advice or a document prepared with Wakeelnama, review it first, and tell the client AI helped where the law or our provider's rules require it.

Your content

Your case files belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service to you. Our staff see them only when you grant support access, and we disclose them only under a court order.

Plans and payment

Paid plans renew only when you confirm payment for the next period. You can stop at any time.

Refunds. Before your plan is switched on: in full. Monthly plans: none for the rest of the month. Yearly plans: in full within 14 days if no chamber run was used; otherwise what you paid less the monthly price for each month begun. Outages over 3 days in a row are added or refunded. Refunds go to the paying account within 14 days, at our cost, and never limit your consumer rights.

Moving to a smaller plan

Nothing is deleted. Your case files and drafts stay, and you can read, download or close them. You cannot open a new case until your open cases are within the new plan's limit, and a plan without drafting cannot start new drafts.

Fair use

Do not use Wakeelnama to break the law, to mislead a court, or to scrape the library in bulk.

The directory

If you list yourself in the directory, the details must be true and must follow your bar council's rules. We may refuse or remove a listing. We take no fee for a listing, rank no one and pass on no enquiries.

Liability

Wakeelnama is a tool for counsel, not legal advice. We are not liable for relying on an output no advocate checked, for a court's decision, or for indirect loss. Our liability is capped at what you paid in the previous 12 months, or 10,000 rupees if more, except for our fraud or wilful misconduct or where the law forbids a cap, as with consumer rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Disputes go to the courts at Lahore, but a consumer may use the Consumer Court the law allows. Write to us first; we reply within 15 days.
